Why It Is Important To Sponsor African School

By Thomas Allen

The most important asset for the future is the children. They will improve the legacy of human kind in the future through developing new technologies and finding ways to improve the quality of life. However, most children will not achieve these goals due to negative conditions. To help out these needy children, you can decide to help Sponsor African School.

More than a third of all the children in third world countries lack one or more human basic needs thus they live in absolute poverty. The basic needs include housing, food and clothing. The parents of the kids are also unable to cater for their needs thus some children opt to find alternative ways to help themselves often those that involve violence. Investing in institutions will allow poor children to receive education that will improve their quality of life.

Research has identified that 72 million children do not have reputable education with majority as children from developing worlds. Although education is a way of dealing with poverty, poverty is the reason that limits most children from getting valuable education. To ensure that these youngsters are educated, take part in sponsoring a school to help them learn, however poor they are.

Most children suffer and die due to diseases that are easily treatable or immunizable with measles, malaria and diarrhea as the common examples. Many people are unaware of these options. Malnutrition is also a major problem that can easily be solved. By gathering the kids in an institution, the kids can receive free immunization and information on nutrition to make life easier for them.

The main issue facing children in Africa relates to exploitation due to poverty. Children are used as soldiers, prostitutes, slaves and are also trafficked as a way to earn money. Often, they will take part in the exploits to earn money and also due to the free time they have. Ensuring that the kids take part in helpful learning activities will ensure that they will not be exploited easily.

Often, sponsor schools lack standard quality equipment that are necessary to ensure that the children receive quality education. The equipment available may be too few to fit the number of children in the institution, they can be of low quality or even unavailable. This results in lower quality education which reduces the overall results. Funding the school will be helpful in the purchase of materials.

Institutions set up by sponsors do not only educate them but also the public as well. They may advice the public against unorthodox traditions that affects the progress of the society example female genital mutilation and limiting the education of a girl child. The sponsor schools have been the main reason that has promoted gender equality in Africa.

Through sponsoring a needy child you will feel happy at the small part you play in ensuring that a child will have a brighter future. This will also be a way of promoting the development of these third world countries and providing both emotional and financial support to needy children. You will also help build the future of the child and their children.
